Gov. Cuomo Announces Executive Order to Issue Mail-In Ballots

Governor Cuomo wants every registered voter in New York state to receive a mail-in ballot to vote.

With the June 23rd primary day approaching, registered voters had originally been told that they could apply for mail-in ballots.

On Monday, however, the Governor issued the executive order to send ballots automatically to every voter, even those who didn't apply.

The upcoming primary includes races for the state Senate and Assembly. There are also special elections for Congress and the legislature.
