Thousands Of Laptops, Chromebooks Donated To SUNY Students

Nearly nine thousand laptops and Chromebooks are being donated to SUNY students who need access to technology to complete their spring semester classes online.

The SUNY Administration surveyed all 64 campuses and colleges to gauge student technology needs, after the move to distance learning was made so quickly after the coronavirus outbreak.

Officials say they will continue to assess the situation to make sure that students in need have the access they need.
