Duffy says his job is to make recommendations, and Governor Andrew Cuomo retains ultimate authority for when the reopening from the coronavirus pause takes place.
Duffy spoke on a Zoom call with area reporters Tuesday afternoon. Governor Cuomo has drafted him to coordinate the restart of the local economy. Duffy says right now, his objective is learning and to provide data to Governor Cuomo.
