The University of Rochester will soon begin a new study into Covid 19. URMC will conduct the study to better understand the response of the human body’s immune system to coronavirus.
The U Of R says the study will focus on whether any patient who recovers from the virus could be re-infected and if there are some people have pre-existing immunity. About 100 patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 will be asked to join the study. It is being supported by a 5 million dollar grant.
