Superintendent Of East High 'Not Consulted' On Proposed Cuts

East High School Superintendent Shaun Nelms says he was not consulted on the proposed cuts at East.

If approved, he says it would end what he calls important work that has been showing meaningful results.

He says the partnership with the University of Rochester at East High has shown drastic improvements in graduation rates, reading levels, and positive school culture.

And he says the current funding at East is less than two percent of the school district budget.
