Man Charged In Rochester Fraud Now Charged In Coronavirus Scam

A Georgia man who was charged in January in a multi-million dollar fraud scheme while he lived in Rochester is in more trouble for an alleged coronavirus scam.

Christopher Parris is charged with wire fraud for allegedly trying to sell the Veterans Affairs Department millions of dollars in masks and protective gear that did not exist.

Parris lives in Atlanta was arrested Friday.

He was charged in January for allegedly running a Ponzi scheme in Rochester with another man from 2012 to 2018.
