New York State Troopers Arrest, Charge Man After Chase

New York State Police have charged a city man with driving without a license and marijuana possession after he fled from troopers and crashed his car.

Troopers say 30-year-old Brendon Holmes was ordered to stop for a traffic violation yesterday on Saint Paul Street, but he drove off instead.

After a brief pursuit, Holmes was involved in a crash near Scrantom Street and ran away. He was taken into custody within minutes.
