Local Distillery Switches From Alcohol To Sanitizer

Rochester's Black Button Distilling is switching its business model to help fight coronavirus.

Instead of making booze, the business is making high-alcohol hand sanitizer.

The business will keep employees working making 18,000 bottles in the next two weeks.

The plan is to sell the hand sanitizer, at cost, to local hospitals, doctor's offices and at-risk communities.

It will not be sold directly to the public.
