NBA Requiring Teams To Have A Plan For COVID-19

The NBA is sending out a memo to every team to have a plan for the coronavirus in place by Tuesday.

According to reports, teams will have to meet with an infectious disease specialist, have a testing facility in place and a plan in place to limit team and arena staff that interacts with players. Team doctors and trainers are expected to discuss the virus in a conference call today.

Meantime, The Athletic reports there will be a conference call today between Major League Baseball owners and Commissioner Rob Manfred to talk about the outbreak. The regular season is set to begin less than three weeks and it's unclear if games would still be played without fans.
