Ground has been broken in downtown Rochester for the "ROC The Riverway" project...including upgrades to the Rundel Library's North Terrace.
Library Director Patty Uttaro says the upgrade will open the terrace to the public.
It's part of the downtown waterfront revitalization plan along the banks of the Genesee River.
The terrace will have outdoor library reading space, a cafe and program rooms. It will also fit into future plans to redevelop the former Subway Bed-Aqueduct beneath the Broad Street Bridge
