A Rochester man has been arrested in New York City for leaving the scene of a fatal accident last month on Lake Avenue at Burley Road.
Suspect Shannon Melvin also was wanted for a probation violation.
City police say he was driving an SUV involved in the evening crash February 20th that killed Christopher Wilson -- a passenger in the other car.
Police say Melvin and one of his passengers ran off. Another passenger, and the driver of the other car, suffered minor injuries.
