Telemedicine Allows Patients To Consult Medical Professionals Remotely

Rochester Regional Health says its telemedicine technology can help slow the spread of the coronavirus.

People with symptoms can consult with medical professionals in a video conference, instead of leaving their homes and exposing others.

It's called Carenow Telehealth.

It reduces costs by skipping emergency room visits -- and it is supported by different insurance companies.

The video calls will work with almost any device with a camera and microphone.
