Nazareth College Calls Home Students Abroad

Another area college has cut short a study abroad program for its students in Italy.

Nazareth College is calling the students home out of concern about the coronavirus.

More than 1600 cases have been reported in Italy, and at least 34 people have died.

The students arrived in Italy in mid-February and began arriving home Sunday. They have been asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.

Likewise, St. John Fisher College has announced a required at-home quarantine for students and faculty who traveled to Florence and Rome in a study abroad program.
