NY-27 Nominee Jacobs Won't Be Endorsed By NYS Conservative Party

New York's Conservative Party says it won't endorse Republican state Senator Christopher Jacobs in the special election for the 27th Congressional District seat.

Party leaders tell The Buffalo News they're not convinced he's the best fit to represent the district.

Jacobs was nominated by the Republican Party over the weekend and will face Democrat Nate McMurray in the election, which is expected to happen April 28th.

The congressional seat has been open since the resignation last year of ex-Congressman Chris Collins.
