Geneva police are releasing few details about a shooting investigation.
Police say a man who had been shot in the back showed up on his own at Geneva General Hospital early yesterday morning.
He was later sent to Strong hospital in Rochester.
Police have withheld the man's name.
They haven't announced an arrest, but they say they are confident there is no threat to the community.
