Members of Police Accountability Board Announced

The City of Rochester has announced the nine members chosen to serve on the city's new Police Accountability Board, and also sent the legislation setting up the board to City Council and the Mayor for approval.

The members come from all parts of the city, appointed half by the council, half by a community coalition, and one seat named by the mayor.

They include Doctor Robert Harrison, a retired UR Medical School professor; The Reverend Matthew Martin Nickoloff of the South Wedge Mission; Northeast District Councilwoman Ida Perez; Rabbi Dorah Setel of Tempel Emanu-El; The Reverend Dr. Rickey Bernard Harvey of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church; Jonathon Dollhopf of the Regional Center for Independent Living; Substance Abuse Therapist Miquel Powell; Physican Assistant Shani Wilson; and Registered Nurse Dr. Celia McIntosh.
