Man Pleads Guilty To Phelps Convenience Store Hold Up

A man accused of holding up a convenience store in Phelps -- and leading authorities on a three county manhunt -- has pleaded guilty.

Brandon Burgess pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery and two counts of grand larceny, among other charges.

Prosecutors say Burgess robbed the Phelps 7-Eleven at gunpoint in September -- then went on the run after making several concerning social media posts.

The plea agreement calls for a sentence of five years in prison, and five years' probation.

Sentencing is scheduled for February 19th.
