City of Rochester Awarded Grant Money for Upgrades to Soccer Stadium

The City of Rochester is getting grant money to upgrade and re-purpose the soccer stadium.

The $460,000 grant from the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation will help make the stadium a youth sports training facility and sports complex.

The stadium will be available for sports and community events, and the adjacent building will become an indoor training facility for school and community teams, health and fitness professionals, and city residents.

Mayor Lovely Warren says student-athletes in the city have been at a competitive disadvantage and the training center will address that.
