RCSD Teachers Union To Lobby Lawmakers For More Aid Today

Rochester teachers and their supporters are in Albany today to lobby state lawmakers for more state aid for the school district.

The teachers union claims the district is owed $86 million in state aide that could close the budget gap.

And the union wants an immediate $25 million bridge loan for the district to prevent more budget cuts and layoffs in the short term
