Rochester Teacher's Union To Lobby In Albany For More Funding

The Rochester teachers union and activist groups plan to head to Albany next week to lobby the state legislature for more money for the Rochester schools.

Rochester school superintendent Terry Dade says the district may have to make more budget cuts without new state aid.

And both Dade and the union are hoping Governor Cuomo will express support for more school aid when he delivers his State of the State address today.

The lobbying trip to Albany is planned for next Tuesday.
