Cuomo Sends Help In Aftermath Of Puerto Rico Earthquakes

Governor Cuomo is assisting Puerto Rico with earthquake response. The governor deployed personnel from the New York Power Authority to help with emergency response efforts after back-to-back earthquakes caused widespread blackouts across most of the island. The state has sent multiple teams of technical power grid experts since Hurricane Maria. Once the team helps restore power, it will resume its efforts to strengthen Puerto Rico's electric system so it's better prepared to withstand all kinds of natural disasters in the future.
