Area Hospitals Add Visitor Restrictions Due to Spread of Flu

Newark-Wayne Community Hospital and United Memorial Medical Center are adding visitor restrictions as the spread of the flu picks up.

The hospitals say there can only be two visitors per patient at a time, all visitors must be 14 years old or older and anyone with flu like symptoms should not visit patients even if they have had the flu vaccine.

Visitor restrictions are also in place at Rochester General Hospital and Unity Hospital.
