George Eastman Museum Receives State Grant For Gardens

The George Eastman Museum has received a $600,000 state grant to restore its historic garden structures. The money comes from the New York State Office for Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. It will also improve access to the gardens for people with impaired mobility. The total cost of the project is estimated at $900,000.

Museum officials say the gardens are a popular part of the attraction, especially for wedding photoshoots.
