Rochester Firefighter Falls During House Fire on City's North Side

A Rochester firefighter is expected to recover from a fall during a house fire on the city's north side. It happened around 7 p.m. on Pardee Street.

Deputy Chief David Kaltenbach says the firefighter was climbing a ladder to a second floor window when he fell.

The firefighter did not lose consciousness. There is no update on his condition.

One person in the house got out on his own.

The fire is under investigation.
