City Of Rochester's Credit Rating Hit Due To RCSD Budget Issues

The budget mess in the Rochester City School District has dinged the City of Rochester's credit rating.

Moody's Investor Service lowered the rating based on the "decline in reserves and liquidity" within the School District.

The change could make it more expensive for the city government to borrow money.

Moody's lowered the rating for certain bonds from Aa3 to A2.
