Rochester Woman Convicted of Murder

A Monroe County Court Jury has found 27-year-old Jazmine Simmons guilty of second degree murder in the death of George Rogers.

Simmons was accused of arguing with the 73-year-old man and then stabbing him 76 times at his home on Rosewood Terrace in Rochester. His body was found by the landlord the following month. Simmons was accused of murder after a police investigation.

She'll be sentenced on January 15th.
