Family Expresses Thanks After Brighton Tragedy

The family of two children struck by a car while on a Brighton sidewalk earlier this week has expressed its appreciation for the outpouring of community sympathy they have received. They say the same for the actions of Brighton Police and first responders when their daughter and son were struck by the car.

Their babysitter, Elmira Hall of Farmington, was killed instantly. Nine -year-old Mila Ruangsuwana died later at the hospital, and her two-year-old brother Evan remains in stable condition.

Rangsal Ruangsuwana and Irina Statnikova also ask for privacy and some time to grieve.
