Woman Sentenced In Suffocation, Strangulation Of Baby At Hospital

A woman is headed to prison for strangling a toddler who was a patient at Golisano Children's Hospital.

Jennifer Hodge has been sentenced to two years behind bars and three years' probation.

She pleaded guilty last month to second-degree strangulation for suffocating the 18-month-old in back in April.

The child lost consciousness but did not die.

The hospital says Hodge was a visitor that day and knew the child.
