A Rochester woman is recovering at the hospital after police say she was hit by a driver on Clifford Avenue, near North Clinton.
It happened shortly after 6:30 last night.
Police say the woman was crossing the street, but was not in the crosswalk, when she was hit by car driven by an 82-year-old woman.
The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.
