Domestic Dispute Ends In Animal Cruelty Charges, Death Of Dog

Two Canandaigua residents have been charged with animal cruelty after got into a fight that ended up killing one of their dogs.

Canandaigua police say it happened at an address on Niagara Street. Officers found Frederick Moskala and Maryann Grant had been throwing furniture during their fight. The couple's Miniature Doberman Pincher was trapped under some of the overturned furniture, and died.

The Ontario County Humane Society took custody of the couple's other dog.

Both Moskala and Grant have a date to appear in court.
