Rochester Teacher's Union President Responds To Dade's Budget cuts

The Rochester teachers union says School Superintendent Terry Dade's budget cuts fall too heavily on the ranks of teachers...and not heavily enough on the administration

Union President Adam Urbanski says cutting 168 teacher positions would be devastating and disruptive to students, but also unworkable because some of those teachers are in subjects mandated by the state.

Urbanski also says the district will file a grievance if teacher benefits -- including their Professional Development Incentives -- are cut.
