Rochester Police Officer Denny Wright Goes Home from Rehabilitation Center

Rochester police Officer Denny Wright is has gone home from rehab.

He was wearing sunglasses, using a cane, and getting help as he left the center this morning.

Police Chief La'Ron Singletary says the law enforcement community will continue to support him.

Wright was attacked and wounded October 4 during a call on Peck Street.

Last night, Wright was honored at Golisano Neurology Rehabilitation Center at Unity Hospital. The center displayed blue lights in his honor, and Wright's colleagues from police and public safety agencies were on hand flashing their patrol lights and showing their support.
