Gov. Cuomo Approves Online Course for Driver's License Applicants

Governor Cuomo has given the green light to an online course for driver's license applicants.

Prospective drivers would be able to take a required five-hour training and instruction course without leaving home.

The online option is set to start in June and run until at least 2025, unless it's extended by the governor or legislature.

Some driving schools have spoken out against the online course, claiming it'll hurt their business.
