Rochester Awarded Grant For Affordable Housing

New York Attorney General Letitia James says the City of Rochester has been awarded an $850,000 grant in the second round of the "Community Land Trusts Capacity Building Initiative." The project acquires and renovates distressed properties to create affordable housing for low-and-middle-income families.

James and Mayor Lovely Warren say the money will help the city partner with the Rochester Land Bank to meet local housing needs.
