Police in Canandaigua want to hear from you if you know anything about an assault Saturday evening near Chapin and Beemis streets, about a block from South Main.
Police say someone, whose face was covered with a scarf, struck a woman there several times with a baseball bat, then ran off.
The woman had minor injuries. The person with the bat was wearing dark pants and a black hoodie.
