Seized Dogs Find New Homes In Lottery

Dozens of dogs that were seized in July from a home in Naples now have new homes.

The Ontario County Humane Society won legal custody of the dogs and put them up for adoption.

There were roughly 300 requests to adopt the 85 dogs, so a lottery was held yesterday to award them to their new owners.

The previous owners, Richard and Jane Justice were charged this summer with dozens of counts of animal cruelty and failing to provide food and water.
