Possible Lawsuit Coming in Grease Trap Death

The family of a three year old boy who died in a grease trap outside a Rochester donut shop, is getting ready for a lawsuit.

The family of Bryce Raynor has filed a notice of claim today against the city and the county for negligence for failing to maintain or inspect the grease traps. The boy's mother, Tenetia Cullum, hired a lawyer last month, and is seeking damages for pain and suffering.

She had brought her son to work with her after her babysitting arrangements changed. Investigators say the boy was standing on top of the grease trap when the lid collapsed and he fell in.

Police didn't file any charges in the case.
