Gov. Cuomo Signs Law Making It Easier for Voters to Change Parties

Governor Cuomo has signed a new law making it easier for voters to change parties.

The old law required voters to wait as long as a year for the changes to take effect. The new law will allow voters to change parties as late as February 14th next year to vote in their new party's April presidential primary and June state primary.

The governor says the new law will make it easier for New Yorkers to have their voices heard in primaries.
