An 22-year-old mother and her six-month-old baby have been taken to the hospital following house fire at 743 Jay Street.
Fire Department Lieutenant Ryan Fleming says the two were trapped inside the building and had to be rescued by a crew that broke down a locked door and found them lying on the floor inside. Sources tell our Bob Lonsberry that both patients were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
