Federal prosecutors say a 51-year-old Batavia man has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography. Daryl Sumeriski was in Federal Court in Rochester today.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Sumeriski was living in a halfway house when fellow residents began expressing concern about images they spotted on his phone and called authorities. A search was made and more than 3,000 pornographic images were found on his phone.
Sentencing is set for January 10th.
