Rochester's teen journalist Geoffery Rogers is hoping to get a plea deal.
Rogers and a 13-year-old were arrested last month for allegedly stealing an unmarked police car and police say Rogers brandished a BB gun .
Rogers pleaded NOT guilty to charges of felony grand larceny and menacing. Both he and the younger suspect are also charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Former judge Leticia Astacio is representing Rogers, and spoke yesterday with News 10 NBC. Astacio says talks are underway with the District Attorneys office on a possible deal.
