Rochester Man Indicted For Criminal Possession, Injuring An Animal

A Monroe County grand jury has indicted a man who was accused of shooting a dog in Rochester.

Nasaniel Rodriguez-Vazquez was indicted on charges of criminal possession of a weapon and torturing or injuring an animal.

Authorities say he shot the dog on Stanislaus Street on Labor Day.

Police initially said he would NOT be charged, because the dog had been acting aggressively toward him.
