A new cell phone policy is now in effect at School of the Arts in Rochester.
Starting today students have to turn in their cell phones and other electronic devices at the beginning of the day, and will have them given back at the end of the day.
Officials say this policy will help cut down on distractions in school which with lead to students being more engaged.
