Rochester Man Convicted Of Murder And Attempted Murder Charges

A Rochester man has been convicted on murder and attempted murder charges in a shooting last year.

Joseph Boykins was found guilty of shooting Michael Earlsey and Quintora Harris on York Street last summer.

Earsley died two hours later, and Harris recovered. She and Boykins had been in a relationship.

Boykins was indicted on murder, drug and weapon charges and went to trial in April, but the judge declared a mistrial after a juror blew a kiss to the victim's family.

The second trial ended yesterday with a guilty verdict.
