The teenage defendant who pleaded guilty in connection with a plot to attack a Muslim community near Binghamton, is being sentenced.
Nicholas Pheilshifter was sentenced to seven years in prison and five years of post-release supervision.
Pheilshifter previously pleaded guilty to Attempted Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 1st Degree as a Crime of Terrorism.
Two other defendants, Andrew Crysel and Brian Colaneri, were sentenced earlier this month, and will each serve four-to-12 years in prison, after pleading guilty to charges of second-degree conspiracy related to terrorism.
The fourth defendant, Vincent Vetromile, will be sentenced later this week.
