Trump Signs Bill Naming Fairport Post Office for Louise, Bob Slaughter

President Trump has signed the bill renaming the Fairport Post Office after the late Congresswoman Louise Slaughter and her husband, Bob.

Slaughter died a year ago in February at the age of 88, after serving 31 years representing the Rochester area in the House of Representatives. The bill was introduced by her successor, Democrat Joe Morelle, who says he's proud that it's his first signed piece of legislation.
