Timothy Dean Sentenced in Sodus Double Homicide

A judge in Wayne County has sentenced former Texas cop Timothy Dean to life in prison without the possibility of parole for two murders last fall in Sodus.

Judge Daniel Barrett called Dean "a classic psychopath" and said he wonders what goes on his head.

Dean did not speak before he was sentenced for killing his wife's ex, Joshua Niles, and Niles' girlfriend Amber Washburn.

They were gunned down in October after Dean's wife, Charlene Childers, lost a child custody fight with Niles.

Childers pleaded guilty to manslaughter. A cop who worked with Dean pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge.
