Cuomo Lifts Fishing License Requirement, Cuts State Park Admission Price

Governor Cuomo says the state will eliminate the license requirement for fishing on Lake Ontario, the St. Lawrence and Lower Niagara Rivers from now through Labor Day...and he's also cutting the admission price for state parks in the region in half for the same time.

The governor says they want to help boost the summer tourist season that was held back by spring flooding along the lake. Cuomo says the state is also cutting entry fees at state parks and campgrounds in the region in half through Labor Day.
