Bridge in Steuben Co. to be Named After Fallen Trooper Nick Clark

The governor has signed a bill naming a bridge on Interstate 86 in Steuben County in honor of a state trooper who was killed last year in the line of duty.

The highway bridge near the state police barracks in Bath is named for Trooper Nicholas Clark.

He had been a trooper for three years last July when he was shot and killed in the Town of Erwin by a man barricaded inside a home. The man later killed himself.
