The Woodstock 50 festival won't be held at Vernon Downs in Oneida County.
The Vernon town planning board voted last night to uphold the town's denial of the permit application.
The town maintained the application was filed too late to hold the festival next month and the paperwork was incomplete.
The festival organizers could challenge the denial in court, but say they won't.
Also last night, production company Virgin Produced, pulled its support of the festival.
Woodstock 50 was planned for August 16 through 18 -- the 50th anniversary of the festival held in Sullivan County.
